The Blend Hike 2024 Event Details #BlendHike24

The Blend won't be promoting or fundraising for this event, This hike is a social event meant to combine fun and networking with a challenge.

Date - 2nd May 2024
Meeting Time - 09:30

Hike Start Time - 10:00

Estimated Time - 6-7 Hours*
Estimated Finish Time - 16:00*
Sun Rise
05:30*
Sun Set - 20:30*

Distance - Estimated 22.5 km
Difficulty - Proceed cautiously on this 22.5 km out-and-back trail. This route is generally considered a highly challenging route and should only be attempted by experienced adventurers.

Those who know they are fit and capable should look to make it harder for themselves by weighing themselves down with at least 10kg and up to 18kg of water. If water is used you can always tip it out to reduce weight. This will not only make it more of a personal challenge but it will help to keep the group tighter together.

This is an out-and-back route, there will be 3 checkpoints where you either can turn back or wait to be re-joined.

The checkpoints are;

Pen Y Fan ~ 4k

The Roman Road ~ 6.5k

Carpark ~ 11.5k
